Little Chapel of the Flowers
I booked the Victorian Chapel at Chapel of Flowers (www.littlechapel.com). It can hold up to 30 guests. They had several different chapels and outdoor settings to choose from. Personally, I think the Victorian is the nicest and the bonus is that it is the one inside the white chapel portion. So you really are married inside it. I had considered having the ceremony at one of the hotels but in the end the whole point of a Vegas wedding to me is going to a standalone little white chapel.
This chapel also has the best website out there. I booked everything online and even chatted online with a rep to immediately get answers whenever I needed them. You create your package online and you can select whatever options you want. My package was only $100 deposit to hold the date/time. You can also watch all of their ceremonies online so you know exactly what you are getting. Ceremonies start at $195.
I went with the Traditional Package, with the sunflower photography package and an extra 15 minutes on the grounds to take our own photos. Also, did the "first look" options so we didn't see each other until I walked down the aisle. Groom had a boutonnière that matched my bouquet. I emailed them a photo of what I wanted and it was recreated exactly. I had a 12 rose bouquet with bear grass. Also, had 2 bridesmaids bouquets of 6 roses each again with bear grass. We used the bouquets as centerpieces at the reception dinner :)
MY REVIEW : Chapel of Flowers A++
I am so happy with our ceremony. It was truly romantic and touching. We had everyone in tears but it also had it’s fun moments too. Highly recommended. Loved the Victorian Chapel. The guest doors lead right to a great shaded gazebo. It was beautiful – not cheesy at all. They have some beautiful areas for photos. We enjoyed getting picked up the day before for a tour of the chapel and to go get our marriage license. The best part was all of our family who couldn’t make it were able to watch it live online. I also loved that I could provide them with a CD of the music we wanted played. It all worked flawlessly. We went back a few days later to pick out our photos. It took us an hour and a half to decide but it was worth it to come home with photos in hand. I was impressed with the photos but not enough to pay $600 for the CD. We were good with what came in the package. They also had a second “lifestyle” photographer shooting. I asked not to even be shown these photos as you can only buy that CD after you’ve purchased the main one. They complied and I don’t feel like it was a hard sell or anything.
A co-worker went to Vegas and took these photos for me. They show the chapel gardens. I am also showing you photos of the area surrounding the chapel since you never get to see this on their website. I was already aware that it isn't in the best area and I'm fine with it. But for those who are concerned this is what you see from the chapel property looking onto Vegas Blvd. I provided transportation for my guests in an air-conditioned limo bus. I would highly recommend you do this for your guests if you select this chapel. There is no area inside for your guests to wait. I think it is TOO hot to leave them outside so this gave them a place to be until they were lead into the chapel.
